Directly impacted by frontwoman Jayna Doyle’s recent struggles, such as the back to back loss of her parents in 2025, the EP is ultimately a story of resilience with Doyle’s commanding vocals at the helm. She muses “It's okay to talk about grief. It's okay to want more for yourself. It's okay to be cringe…it's okay to be seen…[art] is worth the risk”. Soft Witness delves into the raw analysis of people pleasing (“Disease to Please”), unrequited love (“Ruin”), escapism (“Sunsetting”, “Idle Hands”), and self esteem (“The Fool”, “Mess”) while fusing infectious high-gloss sounds, sinister synths, and cinematic arrangements.  To Doyle, it’s all about relief,  especially in the live show. “It’s 100% cathartic.”  That catharsis is headed your way. Glass Mansions is following up the release with a 12 date Southeast tour, taking them from Texas to Nashville and back.
