New Album, Heavier Sound: Pure Ecstasy
The tour announcement lands on the heels of Beartooth revealing their upcoming sixth studio album, Pure Ecstasy (dropping August 28th via Fearless Records). Following up 2023’s wildly successful The Surface, the new record promises to lean hard into pure, unadulterated aggression and massive arena-ready hooks.
Frontman Caleb Shomo shared that the album’s self-titled lead single was born out of a studio session with Periphery’s Misha Mansoor and expanded with former Bring Me The Horizon mastermind Jordan Fish. The result? Some of the heaviest chugs, anthemic choruses, and crushing breakdowns the band has ever put on tape. If the lead singles “Free” and “Pure Ecstasy” are any indicator, their December performance at The Refinery is going to set a high bar for live shows this year.
